Exhibiting, Advertising, and Sponsorship
WPSA Annual Meeting April 2-4, 2026 Pre-Conference Workshops, April 1 Manchester Grand Hyatt, San Diego, California
Why exhibit, advertise, or help sponsor the WPSA?
The WPSA is one of the major political science associations in the nation. Its annual conference has attracted up to 1400 participants from universities and colleges throughout the United States and from other countries. The scholars who attend teach classes and conduct research in areas across the discipline, though it is particularly strong in some fields, including political theory; race, ethnicity, gender, and intersectionality studies; environmental politics; environmental political theory; and alternative research methods.
Exhibitor Opportunities Deadline: February 1, 2026
Tables staffed by Publisher's Representative:
- Individual 6' draped table $550.00
- Twin 6' tables arranged side by side $750.00
- Three 6' tables arranged in a "U" or "L" $850.00
- Purchase of any of these options includes two complimentary registrations, acknowledgement in the program and other communications with members; and name with link to organization on our webpage. The exhibitor tables are located near the conference registration and in the central part of the meeting space, providing a continuous flow of traffic.
Tables Staffed by The Scholars Choice
If your organization is unable to send a staff member and you wish to have books displayed, the Western Political Science Association has arranged with The Scholar's Choice to manage the combined book exhibit for our upcoming conference. It may be possible for your recently published book(s) to be included in their display.
Individual authors. Any members interested in having their books displayed at the upcoming WPSA conference should contact their publisher between November 15 & January 30 to ask if they would be willing to send the book for the exhibit. The Scholar's Choice displays books on behalf of the publishers and all requests must come from them, not the individual authors. If they don't already have it, the press may request the appropriate paperwork by emailing Mary Lynn Howe ([email protected]).
Publishers. Publishers who are unable to attend but wish to have a few titles exhibited should contact The Scholar's Choice. They will be providing the combined book exhibit at our annual conference. Please contact Mary Lynn Howe by email ([email protected]) or phone (315-905-4208) for more information.
Promoting Your Own Book
Members who want to have their books displayed, but want to pay the cost directly, may do so by contacting Julio Castilleja at [email protected]. The WPSA has an exhibit table devoted to WPSA authors each year. The cost of exhibiting your own book is $60 per title. This is a good way to get recognition at the WPSA meeting.
Book Roundtables/Author-Meets-Critic
Each year, several roundtable discussions are presented at the annual meeting in which the participants discuss a significant book in the discipline or where an author meets with a group of panelists to discuss her or his book. If you are a publisher and one of your titles is the focus of a Roundtable discussion or an Author-Meets-Critic panel, we encourage you to display the book and also consider running an advertisement for it in the program, along with information on the time and location of the discussion or panel. If you are an author or the organizer of a Book Roundtable/Author-Meets-Critic panel and would like to see a book displayed, please contact Julio Castilleja at [email protected] for information.
Miscellaneous Exhibits
Copies of journals, fliers, and order forms can be displayed by the registration area for a $60.00 fee.
